Nashville, TN – Lucent Health, a leading provider of innovative health benefit solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Settle as the company’s new Chief Sales Officer. In this role, Settle will lead the organization’s sales efforts, driving strategic growth, strengthening our existing sales relationships, and expanding Lucent Health’s market presence.

Settle joins Lucent Health with nearly 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Practice Leader at USI Insurance Services. During his 12-year tenure at USI (7 in Illinois and 5 in Michigan/NW Ohio) Settle demonstrated a proven track record of leadership and sales excellence.  He successfully grew these Practices in through relentless efforts tied to revenue growth, talent acquisition, and development.

Scott brings a wealth of experience in employee benefits consulting, sales talent development, and market strategy. During his time as Senior Vice President & Employee Benefits Practice Leader, Scott built and developed a team of sales professionals and achieved impressive milestones, well exceeding targets each year in new revenue growth, creating new markets, and assembling new teams of production talent. Scott was central to substantial revenue growth in the markets he led, notably, more than doubling top line revenue of the Practice in each region.
