For 10 years, Lucent Health has offered value-based pricing (VBP) plans, designed to take care of members while cutting the annual cost of health benefits programs. While not all third-party administrators have successfully worked with companies to ensure cost savings while maintaining a great member experience, Lucent Health has 150 clients who enjoy the benefits of VBP. In a recent analysis of 20 of those clients, ranging in size from 150 to 3,500 employees across industries, we tracked annual savings and, for companies that have had a VBP plan for multiple years, total savings. Here’s what we found:
